Steven Egleston, M.D.
Family Physician, Cherokee Nation Health
Steve grew up in Bristow, Oklahoma and developed a love for science and reading. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma medical school, completed residency and became board certified in Family Medicine, and moved to Claremore in 2003. He has treated patients in private practice, local Urgent Care facilities, and currently as a continuity Family Practice Physican with the Cherokee Nation in Nowata. Dr. Egleston also served at the William W. Barnes Children's Advocacy Center in Claremore helping to care for children experiencing abuse.
Steve and his wife Teresa have two daughters and a grandchild (with a second to arrive soon). He dabbles in beekeeping, backcountry hiking, and playing pinball.
